The Art of Landscape Painting – Summer 2026 – Martlesham Evening Class

What You’ll Learn

Learn how to design and paint expressive landscape paintings with confidence. Throughout the term, you will explore composition, tonal studies, colour harmony, light and atmosphere, while developing your own personal style through sketchbook work, studio painting, and outdoor observation.

Course Dates

The course runs weekly for 12 sessions starting on 2oth April 2026.

Daytime Class: Classes are 2 hours long and run on Monday Evenings, 18:30–20:30.
Term Length: 12 weeks.
Note: Half Term – No class on the 25th May

• The Richards Rooms, Martlesham Community Hall: Monday Evenings 18:30 – 20:30

What to Bring

• An A4 sketchbook, pencils, grey markers, and a white pastel pencil or chalk
• Full painting materials as suggested on the website
• A tablecloth
• An apron or old clothes

Payment Terms

The course fee is paid in full when booking.

Martlesham Evening: £200

Missed Sessions

If you cannot make a session, you are welcome to attend any of my other classes as a catch-up, subject to availability. Please let me know in advance so I can confirm there is space.

Cancellations & Refunds

• If I need to cancel a session, for example due to illness, I will either:
  • add an extra session at the end of term, or
  • offer a credit towards a future class
• If I am unable to run the course at all, you will receive a full refund.
