Beginners Landscape Painting Course

Are you a complete beginner? – Would you like to join an art class but want to practice the basics first and build your confidence? – Are you a more experienced artist but feel that you would benefit from a refresher on the foundations of Landscape painting? –  If so, this course is designed with you in mind.

Week 6: Trees, Silhouettes and creating a Visual Library

Week 9: Painting Skies
Week 10: Painting Water and Reflections
Week 11: Painting Greens
week 12:Visioning – Using your imagination
week 13:Master Copy – Edward Seago
week 14: Larger Painting Session 1
week 15: Larger Painting Session 2

Please note there will be no class on the 13th and 27th of May

Class Details:

  • When: Every Monday Evening from 18:30 pm to 20:30 pm.
  • Location: The Richards Rooms, Martlesham Community Hall, Felixstowe Road, Martlesham, Woodbridge, IP12 4PB,
  • Parking: Ample parking available

Who Can Join:

This class is open to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced artists.  However the specific focus of this class is to cover the basics of drawing and painting.  The first half of term will be focused on drawing and the second half to painting. 

Class Structure:

  • Drop-In Basis: Classes are £16 per session, allowing flexibility for attendees to drop in as per their schedule.
  • Term Schedule: Typically aligned with term times, with a break during half term.
  • Joining Mid-Term: You’re welcome to join the class at any point during the term. However, we recommend contacting us beforehand to confirm the session schedule.
