An original plein air study of Levington Lagoon. This brackish lagoon by the River Orwell was formed as a result of a breach in the sea wall during the notorious 1953 floods, which affected much of the east coast of England.
Inspired by a walk along the River Orwell outside Nacton Village, I was lucky enough to capture the evening light as it set over this quiet little part of the suffolk countryside
